KwaZulu Natal The high peaks and dramatic scenery of the Drakensberg Mountains make it another region ideal for self-driving. Winding roads lead around rugged mountain passes to historic battlefields where the British, Boers and Zulus once fought. The Elephant Coast north of Durban is home to subtropical beaches and less-visited wildlife areas.
